Since I'm getting a new blog design (I woke up to it being done and I LOVE it! That was my sweet daughter's surprise for me this morning!)... Anyway... I've been thinking back to when I first began blogging. I didn't know what a blog was until about Jan. 2008. My friend Amy had a blog and she shared the link with me so I could read it. Thus I discovered the world of blogging!
I didn't start my own blog until July 2008. It's kind of unbelievable that I've been around for almost a year. Yet, it's kind of weird that I've only been around a year. You know what I mean? It's become such a big part of my life that I wonder how I ever lived without it. Well, I might be exaggerating a bit, but I do enjoy it very much - and I KNOW you knew that.
My first blog was Big Trials Vs. Little Trials, and I got a whopping ZERO comments! Gotta start somewhere right? When I went back and read it, I thought it was funny that I wrote like somebody would actually read it. Yet, I'm not sure anybody did. Makes me laugh now as I remember how it was so satisfying to just have a place to write - JUST IN CASE someone might read it, and now I actually have people reading what's on my heart and mind and yes, I'll admit it - I LOVE IT! You, my blogging chums are truly a part of my every day life and I think about you all the time. I always have my camera in hand so I can share pictures with you... and my family says things like, "Nothing is sacred anymore, it's going on her blog!" ha!
So, I just had some sweet memories of my first blogging days. I'm so glad Amy shared her blog with me or I might not be here and I might not have met YOU!

Tomorrow is my official one year anniversary of blogging. I can't believe it either. God has done such a work in me and I am able to literally go back and read how He did it - step by loving step. I don't even remember that woman anymore. I'll be sharing more about this tomorrow...Thankful Thursday!

I can't believe you've only been blogging for one year! You seem like a pro at it. I am so thankful that you began Wednesday's Walk Down Memory Lane. I participated for the first time last week and I've been so blessed as a result. I found three new relatives because of it. So, I have you to thank Lynnette. Bless you.

I started blogging last month, I have a feeling I'll be writing a similar post to yours in about a year !
Well, it is said a number of times here, but i do love the new look of your blog.
I didn't know what a blog was until January of THIS year. But i started blogging right away. Have over 100 posts now! Doubt i'll ever have the following your page has, but then, i'm kind of a plain, boring girl! :)

I'm so glad you started blogging too. I found your blog because of a comment you left on someone else's blog and for some reason, decided to see what you were all about. That truly altered the course of my life. People that don't blog must think we're crazy, but the friendships I've made and people that God has introduced me to through blogging have been there right when I needed them and each one of them has shown me and taught me things that I really needed at the time. It's an amazing tool and I'm so glad to be your blogging chum!
I've been falling behind on my Wed Walk reading and posting and I need to get back on track! I need to go find a memory now... Ha!!
